Everytime I try to connect to US EFnet Server or US DALnet (either IRC Network Random or All), I get the
Unable to resolve server message. It tries and tries with no luck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mirc doesn't always keep it's server list up to date...well users don't update.
us.rr.efnet.net doesn't exist anymore, just connect to a server directly.

How do I "force"
mIRC to stay
connected?
You see, when I launch a
get xyx.rar command, it stays in the server que #68 (example) so I let it stay overnight, but when I come back, it has been disconnected, and I have lost my priority

so I have to start all over again...

Well, that isn't the easiest thing.
You need to find a server which you are able to stay connected to for many days on end.
Often times, you'll get disconnected.
It's a fact of life on IRC.

most excursion xdcc bots take ip queues. So if you get discon or the bot gets discon (those wonderful net splits), you can come back and keep your place. Errr, try to find someone with lots of sends and small queues.
