he got an error 6 because he was using a locked drive from another xbox. Because it was locked it gave him an error 6.
Than he unlocked it and tryed to boot it again getting an error 5. The error 5 because that particular HD was not locked to that particular motherboard and his chip was no longer installed to bypass the TSOP. If his chip was still installed he could boot up and lock the drive. No more error 5 or 6.
Sorry all you guys looking for a cheap one but someone had to give some proper info here because the one above is just dead wrong
