Have a version 1.1 Xbox with a chameleon chip in it and a 100GB drive in it. The work was done 2 years ago on it. And 2 days ago it went on the blink. So I don't think it's a problem with the solder job.

I've been trying to do searches on this, but haven't found my exact match yet. I'm guessing it's either a Power supply problem, or an MCPX problem. But I don't have a voltage meter to test the psu. I haven't ordered the new power cord yet either. And forgot to check the version of psu it has.

When I power up (using any combo of power/eject buttons) it goes through this sequence:

Flashing green/yellow 3 or 4 times with fan spinning - then off,
Flashing green/yellow 3 or 4 times with fan spinning - then off,
Flashing green/red with fan spinning, and staying on - but no video/audio AND no flashing blue LED on the mod chip

Have yanked the drives, and the mod chip, and it still repeats the same pattern listed above. Any thoughts? TIA!
