the worst thing I've come across while modding xboxs is the one kids was full of dead ladybugs. They were everywhere.

Somehow though, Ladybugs. . .not as gross as what you dealt with!

I'd be willing to bet that there was some sort of food or drink residue in the box that led to the roach infestation. The other possibility is that the XBOX was very near a filthy area that acted as a food supply for the roaches. They sought refuge in the box (warmth and soothing frequencies) and ventured nearby for food.

Poor fellas. Now they're displaced. I'm sure they're homesick. I think I'm gonna go snuggle up to some coffee and watch "It's a Bug's Life" now.

I've bought 3 second hand xbox's in the condition you hvae in the pics. It's pretty disgusting but it is the best feeling in the world to get the machine working and realize you paid less than $100 for an xbox.

I really love my leaf blower, cleans the motherboard up in less than 2 minutes

So how would you go about preventing bugs and stuff from getting in the xbox? There are all those vents on the sides, and fan grill on the back. If you put mesh on it, won't lint and stuff just get caught up in it anyways? Best solution keep it up off the ground or something. I think llama site had pic of a toasted roach from ms, out of the retail box.

Dude! I got an xbox and it had the same exact thing as yours!!!! I only paid $10 the xbox. The reason the guy was selling it was one the power cord was ruin [looks like a rat eat the power cord up] and because he was moving.

Speaking of infested Xboxes, I just got one 5 mins ago from a customer who wants theirs TSOPed. I open it and a dead roach falls onto my arm. I freak out and scream. Now i'm scared to come close to the damn box knowing what it might look underneath the HDD & DVD Drive
