I noticed at EmuTalk
they are creating hi-res textures for N64 games. Dumping the original textures and replacing them with better one's up to 4 times larger and much better looking. With Rice's latest plugin.
Just tried it and it works great on PC. The rom reads the textures from a folder.
Examples...
SF Rush before and after:

They have remade some textures for Zelda and Mario etc and they look great, much better than ever before. Basically, play the game and dump any textures you see on the screen. Go into the dumped folder and browse all the textures, with a little effort you can make a game look better, different or any style you want. Amazing.
So just wondering if this would even be possible through the Xbox emu's? Or would the larger file size for textures cause frame drops etc? Is it possible to repack roms with new textures?
Cheers
And if not possible on Xbox, no worries, and still a big thanks to Rice and everyone else involved as I'll have fun on PC anyway
