The hard drive is a Maxtor DiamondMax9. To cut down on noise and heat, I used acoustic management software to set the Maxtor to the quietest setting. I've also replaced the included Xbox cooling fan with an 80mm fan at 7v. I think the fan may be going bad, though, as there seems to be a little more bearing noise ("clicking" sound), although there has always been a little with this fan. I will include the original fan so you can swap them out if you don't want to mod another 80mm fan to fit the Xbox.
The Xbox will arrive with the hard drive wiped clean. Please do not ask me to install any software, because I will NOT humor your request.
The DVD drive is a Thompson. I have never had any problems with it reading properly burned white label Memorex CD-RWs. These are the only media I've tried, though.
The Xbox will be shipped in its retail box, along with a power cord, A/V cables, two controllers, and all documentation.
I am asking $225 shipped or best offer. A new Xbox is $150. A modchip is another $20, and the hard drive is probably around $80. That's $250 at least in parts alone, not to mention time spent installing the chip.
Heatware is under frostedflakes.
