i bought this box premodded near 2 years ago before i even knew this site existed, since then i learned a hell of a lot about xbox modding

ive flashed my chip plenty of times to change the boot up X colors

i tryed editing my bios in the flubber text tool to change up the flubber, all went fine, apparently

but when i flashed the new bios to my chip, it fragged with 3 resarts

i checked the other 3 banks on the chip and no cromwell back up any where, frags on every bank with 3 restarts

am i gonna need a programmer to reflash this, or can i use a pc flash tool and some kind of homemade parallel cable

my buddy as an X2.6 laying around, can i use that to boot back to evox and hot swap chips and reflash that way, he seems to think ill damage my board doing this between and X2.6 and chameleon 1.3

can i use a cheap mod built with radio shack parts to boot into evox somehow and reflash chameleon that way, how would i proram the cheap mod

You will need a programmer if you have the matrix pin header present on chamaleon ( some don't have thsi present ) or you can build one.

But for cost of making you can either get a new chameleon or buy another newer chip.

I have a Matrix Programmer, should work on the Chameleon no problem. Just pay for shipping.
