My video card has inputs (rca style, red and white for sound, yellow for video). I haven't tried it, but I assume you you plug into those, start up some media editing tool (maybe muvee?), and go...not really something I have mucked around with much, sorry.

I would assume you need a video capture card, some are pretty cheap $70 and then run a program that usually comes with the card and from there it is straight forward. I have my sat dish hooked up so i can record tv to my hd. So that is how i do it.

Sorry for the late reply as i have been off the newbie forums a bit, but yeah that is exactly what you need to do that. It works pretty good. And a hint: video editing programs use up alot of power on the pc, slowing my intel p4 2.8 ghz right down.
