My XBOX v1.1 was working Fine running all apps and dashboards.

But i opened up config-magic to see what it was but when i tried to exit i accidently reset the eeprom and when i tried to load the backup bin file it all was reset to a load of zeros and a different dvd region, plus the hdd has been formatted and when i try to load the evox disk it won't load it comes up hdd error.
When the xbox logo screen appears the animation comes up but theres a ringing sound from the telly.

can someone please help

Plus is there anyway to edit the eeprom from the pc if i connect the xbox hdd to the pc cos i haven't got another xbox or a backup of my orignal eeprom

You can embed an eeprom image (your back up) into a bios using XBtool but you would then have to reflash your modchip (assumming you have a chip) with it and boot from it to restore the eeprom you could then boot an auto installer to re -do the HDD

where could i get an image of a eeprom backup for a v1.1
and how do i use xbtools
