I am new to the xbox modscene. i got a spider 1.1 yesterday and installed it. i followed a tutorial online and flashed it with cromwell 2.4. i want to put other bios on it and load a new dashboard but every disc i have tried with a BIOS.bin on it gets a linuxboot.cfg error and doesnt work. also part of the screen is cut off and i dotn know how to make it so i can see everything on it. please help.

my xbox is a 1.6 or 1.6b with a samsung drive

I don't know how to flash in Cromwell, is there a flash menu? I'm sure there is a linux flashing programme like raincoat but there is one cut down for situations like this, forgot what it's called. Remember to use Evox M8_16plus if your xbox is definatly a 1.6/b
