Ok well I have fbaxxx and MAMEdox on my xbox. Fbaxxx plays some games the CPS1 but thats it. It won't play any of the neo geo games, it says something about a bios. Am I supposed to get this bios. If I am you don't have to tell me where if its against the rules, but if I do where do I put the bios after I get it.

MAMEdox doesn't seem to play anything it always says I'm missing files. How do I correct this? any help would be appriciated.

NeoGeo games require a set of BIOS files that are usually contained a "neogeo.zip" file. Once you have this just drop it in the same folder as your ROMS. The emulator will automatically search for the neogeo.zip file and take the BIOS files it needs from there.

For MAMEdOX you are probably using the wrong ROM version. MAMEdOX primarily uses MAME v0.84 ROMS.

Either way you should use the DAT files to check your ROMS. MAMEdOX comes with a DAT file for both RomCenter and CLR MAME Pro. Download either program and load corresponding DAT. You can then scan your ROMS and the program will tell you if you are missing any files, have the wrong files, or need to rename your files (which the program can do for you).

If FBAXXX didn't comes with DAT files in the download it generates it's own DAT files the first time you start the program. Depending on which version you are using it will either generate them in its root install directory or it will generate them at E:\TDATA\ffff0504\ on your XBox.

If you haven't used either program before I'd recommend using RomCenter since it is more user friendly.
