Before I begin, here's my Xbox Specs.

I would like to upgrade EvoX to 3935. I already have the distribution, but I have no clue where to begin in the upgrading process, and there doesn't seem to be a decent guide for those who use a modchip and for those who softmod (like myself). I've researched this forum and many others, but there's absolutely nothing that helps. Hopefully someone can give me a hand??

Firstly backup.

Copy your current evox.ini to your PC and make sure the new Evox.ini settings are changed to be the same as the old.

Then replace your Evoxdash.xbe and evox.ini on the XBox with the new ones.

Done...

Thanks for the prompt reply! One more thing before I go about this.. Would I FTP the files in the normal manner (boot up the Xbox to EvoX and transfer) or would I have to FTP in a different way. I ask this because I know in Windows you cannot transfer a file over a file that is currently in use. Would Evoxdash.xbe be in use by the Xbox?

FTP as usual, you'll be able to deleve/overwrite the files.
