i was wondering if it was poosible to burn apps to a cd and install them on the xbox

Yes, If you can get your xbox to read the disk then you can use a filemanager to copy the files from the disk onto the correct directory on the hard drive.
Its alot easier just to do it by FTP though.

No, make the filemanager a bootable disk, then boot it from the disk and copy the files to the hard drive. Think about it

Download it, rename the Xbe to default.xbe, make it into an xbox ISO, then burn to a disk that will boot in your xbox. Alot of xbox dvd drievs cant read CD-r but im sure you have heard all this already (at least you should have done)
