so i have a bios pack that has M8 , M8_LBA48_igr_Q , M8_LBA48_igr_C And M8_16 , M8_16_LBA48_igr_Q , M8_16_LBA48_igr_C so my question is what is what. m8 versus m8_16 is for which version of 1.6 mother board i have. then the LBA48 is for an upgraded hard drive bigger then 137gb so if iam correct so far i just need to know the difference between Q and C. if i am wrong then explain whats what please.

IGR is In game Reset. Meaning you can exit a game and go back to the dashboard by pressing the proper buttons on the controler

1.6 is for 1.6 Xbox's 1.6b is for 1.6b xbox's.

okay in game reset right on but i am still not sure of which 1.6 or 1.6b i have and which bios m8 or m8_16 goes to which 1.6 or 1.6b all the help has been great and any more would be appreciated

I'd usually direct you to xbins, but xbins recently stopped offering any EvoX software, so I'm not sure where to send you.

All I'll say is look around for somewhere else to get it, google is your friend, just don't ask here for files or you will get banned.

i got m8+ and it still only sees 137 of my 200 GB. any ideas why? ive looked around and im stumped

It seems that all m8 bios Don't support hard disk bigger than 137GB!!!!!
We have to wait for a new bios !!!!!!

i downloaded the biospack and picked the one that says lba48. that worked.

You edit the original with EVtool (1.0.8 for M8 and 1.0.9 for M8+). Get on #evolutionx on EFnet for info.
