i have seen jewels that were set off center to another part of the x. i want to do that but i am not sure how to make the lip for the jewel. I was thinking maybe a lip of hot glue or summin but it needs to be durable cuz i travel alot with my xbox.

use a dremel to creaet what ever shape hole, or lip you need. if your talking about adding lip to an existing hole, use an acrilic epoxy or mabye even bondo.

Not quite sure what you mean. I would cut a hole the size of the jewel and then mount clear plexy or CD jewel case inside the whole. The xbox jewel can rest on that and then you can light it up.
