right, my x-bit is running fine and dandy..

but the most recent games i've been aquiring have failed to boot..

so i'm trying to gauge whether its the games that are fooked or whether its time to get the latest bios onto my X-BIT..

at the moment all I use is X2.4983.06, can I flash X3 3029 on my X-Bit or is that purely for newer generation mod chips?..

this is a hacked M$ bios designed only for X3 modchios. But i think that dear yoshiro (correct me if i'm wrong in spelling) has released it for other modchips, lacks some features ... i haven't checked it. I'm using ind-BIOs 5003 and i'm happy

READ the nfo file for this bios, uses cfg files from the c: or you can inject those files in the bios and then flash them to the xbit.
Best way to do it is flash the original untamed bios to a 256 bank, then boot with an autoinstalling cd/dvd with ftp support, fix your cfg (i thing that it is a "indbios.cfg" file with the tool provided by ind-bios, located in the rar/zip file, then install the dash of your choise and ta-daaaaa...ready to have fun
