I'm trying to transfer files to my xbox, which is modded with an xecuter3. When I send the files, regardless if they're one big file or several small ones, FlashFXP freezes. If I send a really small file (about 3 megabytes), it gets to the xbox eventually, but the transfer rate reads at less than 100KB/s. I've tried transferring files to several xboxes, and I get the same speed issue. I've tried switching network cables between my computer, the actiontec router, and the xboxes, but that doesn't help either. I've tried shutting off my firewall, both hardware and software, but that doesn't fix the problem either. When I transfer files using another computer (plugged into the same router), I don't have any speed issues at all. So I've narrowed down the problem to my pc. I've even created a virtual computer using M$ virtual pc, and installed windows xp sp2 (same as the real computer), and I didn't have any problems transferring to the xbox from the virtual machine. I've also tried other ftp clients, and even different versions of flashfxp. I've looked everywhere on the forums for a solution, but I haven't found anything.
Does anyone have a solution to this short of reinstalling windows?

My experience with the spped issue also is that it must be the PC, because I have 2 Xboxes hooked up via a dlink 604 router and cat. 5e cables and they transfer to each other with about 9 MB/s so the router and cables is not the problem. I also got a new 100 Mbit NIC for my PC (the old one was a 10 Mbit) but it didn't speed up the process more than about 50-100 kb/s (almost no change in speed) so I assume it must be the PC. Unfortunately I have no solution on what to do with the PC

I've also found out qwix works fine, at close to 10,000KB/s average. I've tried using evox, avalaunch, xbmc, and x3 bios for ftp, but still have the same speed issues.
heres the ftp log from flash fxp

I am having the same trouble with slow ftp to the xbox also with flash fxp. I havent found a cure for mine, which is a direct connection with a crossover cable.
Do you have Zone Alarm firewall installed on the pc? If so, the recent program update is supposedly corrupting winsock. There is a fix called winsockxpfix. You can get it at their website free. Just google it.
Hope this helps.

Actually sounds more like a zone alarm problem to me
