I was upgrading my hard drive, and I got to the point where I was locking the drive, but I got an error that security was enabled...

I searched, but couldnt find any information on how to disable security.

I don't think this means my drive is unlockable, because on the lockability chart, It said it was.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

There a few programs, I prefer atapwd to do it thou.

i used hdprepar, will atapwd do anything differently?

In hdprepar, there was no option for disabling security, will it be any different in atapwd?
