When I first got my xecuter 2.6, I installed it wrong so I sent for a new one and got it and installed it. It now works fine and boots up to the bios that is on the chip but when I turn the chip off and want to load the original bios (flubber green thing) it starts to come up and does the flubber and shows the green x but during this the button starts flashing red and green and then after the green x goes away it goes to a screen that says that "your xbox requires service" and show it in several different languages. Please help me

Do you get any type of numbered error along with it?

Since your booting with the retail bios is the HD locked?

I have tried unlocking the harddrive with the original bios and then turning the chip off and seeing if that makes a difference and it doesn't. Maybe I am unlocking it the wrong way?

if your booting an original MS bios the drive HAS to be locked. Double check and ensure the drive is locked or is even a lockable drive.
