I always get sick feel like throwing up whenever i play games for few minutes. I can't play any games like Halo, Counterstrike, blinx, panzer dragoon, rpg games, and all that games that involve 360 degree walking around on screen.

ughhhhh i like playing those games but i can't. I know some people do get sick for that too. it's like watching video camera on TV that always shaking & moving around. Is there a way to cure my sickness of games??

I can only play fighting games, starcraft, all old Super Nintendo games, gameboy, and all that aren't 360 degree walking around blah.......

Damn.... That kinda sucks

I've got a cousin with the same prob, its seaksickness (motion sickness)

He just swallows a seasick tab and , then can play halo for hours.

I'd write you a prescription but my lawer tells me I can't do that anymore unsure.gif

So far I've only experienced this with one game, Timesplitters 2, its because it runs at 60 fps, as opposed to most games which run at around 30, gave me a really sh*tty headache and made me feel a bit dizzy.

Yeah, its motion sickness alright.

Yup, you have motion sickness, all right...There are many over the counter solutions for it, but the prescription stuff is out of this world. Those little patches you stick on could tranq a bull on an airplane.

i used to get really ill feeling when i played doom for a long time but i think thats because i was young and scared.
Novahux
When I used to play doom, I would strafe (walk sideways) around the house for days after with THIS tune in my head. And imagine that my doors were opening vertically from the bottom up and making that doom doornoise

Damn I never have motion sickness and can't tell the difference between 60mhz and 80mhz refresh rates. I guess I must be lucky, or unlucky depends on the way you want to see it.

Thats too bad! I have a friend who can't play any at all bcz of his epilepsy (spelling?) and he actually can't drive a car bcz of it too.
Hope you can get lots of enjoyment out of the other games though smile.gif

I have known many people that couldnt play FPS games because of getting sick.. I used to get very sick playing Wolf 3D, after 5 mins of playing it would be off to the porcelin god. That was the only game to ever do that to me.. and being 13-14 at the time, did it stop me? Noooooo.. I would keep going back till I had nothing left to get out of me.. then I would just have a bad headache.. but wouldnt put the game down.. hahaha..

I got the cure. Genesis NES and SNES!!!!! Buy the real hardware, and go to any store that buys used games and pick up some great used games for cheaper than an xbox game. You'll get more use out of them too. That or get all the emulators and roms for all the 2d games for the systems.

i have been having this problem too lately, but I used to play the hell out of lmctf in quake 2 and I also used to play some q3. Never a problem, but it seems like some of the games in tight closed spaces like rayman 3 and even halo, I get a headache and nauseated.... I think it has something to do with the field of view, I used to play q2 with "fisheye" fov was set to 120...
