MAn i have been searching for hrs i just moded my xbox and i cant play DVDs. I put a DVD in the tray, then under evox i hit "launch DVD" and it restarts the xbox and goes back to the evox screen.

I read that there is some software called DVDx but how do I install it? i dont see any forums explaining that. Can somebody give me a hand?

How do i put the applications in the xbox? (media player, etc) Do i create a folder in my pc and transfer it with the programs into the xbox harddrive under F: partition ?

Basicly, how do i play DVDs with out the remote? blink.gif

you will have to find the dvdx2 prog. then xfer it to your hd. if you have an upgraded hd, then you will put apps and games in the f partition, if you have the stock hd, then you will have to put apps and games in the e partition. i create 2 folders on my f partition (games, apps) then i put the games or apps in their correct folder. you will also have to edit your .ini to autoadd or manually do it so it recognizes the new .xbe's you will be adding. beerchug.gif

Do i copy the DvDx Iso into my normal HD under the e: partition?

What changes should i make to the EVOX.INI file (if any) when copying applications to the e: partition ?

Could you write an example?

YUP!,

Actually I put all my Apps in my F: and use the E: drive just for copied games.
If you use slayers auto installer it will give you all the apps you need, except alates edition of XBMP. Its a much easier option.

I was able to play 2 DVDs with the ISO on a CDRW. Im on my way to copy DVDx2 and XBMP2.3 onto the standard xbox drive in the E:/ partition.

Do i make changes to the EVOX.INi file or any other, if so, could you write an example of what to change?

and off the topic my star wars episode 2 DVD for some reason everytime i put it in, it tells me that the parental control was changed. Then if i try to play a rated M movie, it wont let me play it unless i reset the parental control. Is there anyway to bypass or save the parental control settings for EVER with having it to reset everytime i play this movies?
