Well not sure what'g going on but I flashed my X-ecuter 3 chip with the:X3 3029 v16plus BIOS and now it boots into it's little menu thingy but it's all in Black and White. I'm guessing it's not supposed to be that way.

Its called "X3 config live" the bios
Im having the same problem, except mine is stuck on the X3 rox my box screen ....but when i put my other chip on there it works perfectly....so its not the soldering..........it has to be the chip..........where did you buy your chip from....i got mine from modchip.ca

Uh thanks I guess probably coulda figured that out on my own doesn't help much.

Make sure your region and video mode settings are correct.
