ok i was wondering how i get files to my media center, do i have to ftp?

Yep, you can either FTP or burn the files on to a CD/DVD and copy it into the X-box.

what program do i use to copy them, is it in the media ceter, and also what type of video is suppoted

Use Flash Fxp to FTP over, XBMC supports all kinds of formats, I have yet to play a file that XBMC can't play.

or burn your data on cd or dvd and rip them to your hdd with the file manager.
but ftp is much easier to work with.

A cd/rw helped me to get xbmc... with xbmc i fixed a ftp problem and now i ftp files... its just what will work at your place.

Well, I tried my TELEPATHY but I guess its not in the current version as of yet.
