Unlike the Xbox the PS2's laser has 2 resisters you can turn, one for CD and one for DVD.
Could this also be the case for the Xbox's drive?

This looks very simliar to the Phillips drive as it also has 2 knobs.
Could one be for DVD and onr for CD just like the PS2's one?
