Came across a motherboard that basically had a hole in it near the LPC. I don't know how it happened, but about 5 traces were sliced. If you look at the image, the hole in the motherboard is right below the far right, bottom hole on the LPC. Anyway, when I received this box, it was fragging, and had an X2.6 installed. I removed the chip and all the solder, and found the LPC to be badly damaged with this hole in the motherboard. I was impressed with myself when I got it to boot after following the sliced traces and rebuilding them by connecting wires to the next vias on the traces. Haha, just had to show my 1337 skills.
