Snk Vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos (HAHA kidding)

I was soooo much looking forward to that game, as SNK vs. Coacom on the Neo Geo Pocket Color was so great, but SVC on the Neo Geo was in the end really a big disappointment sad.gif It had some really cool characters (Zero from Megaman Zero or a Metal Slug alien) and I also liked the dialogs before a fight and some endings. But the backgrounds, music and gameplay were just bad.

But yes, some of the Neo Geo Pocket fighting games are also worth a try:

SNK vs. Capcom: Match of the Millennium (NeoPopX)
Gal's Fighter (NeoPopX) (you must see the boss of this game and some endings biggrin.gif)

You are so correct, its very obvious they got some unused KOF backgrounds and just threw it all together.
the entire game just looks and feels bad.

i much rather would have had a game focusing on KOF VS SF with some nice redrawn classic backgrounds.
(like Ken's sf2 boat stage, can you imagine that in KOF style?)

and the music.. man it just hurts my ears, its loud and you kinda feel mindraped when it plays.

How random, I hardly ever come here (no internet in my house) and when I do, a topic I started two years ago, almost to the day is on the front page.

LA!

I just wanted to add KOF2002 to my list, and also, of course MVC2 is there, but it's not emulated, which is kinda what I was going for.

As for Mortal Kombat, seriously, how do you play those games AND like fighting games? I don't get it.

Meh MK has always been eye candy, nothing more (just talking about the 2D games here though)
for me the eye candy was enough until they started adding that stupid combo stuff, if i wanted that i'd play Street Fighter or KOF.

While its easy to love all SF's and KOF's its a bit more difficult with MK, personally i only really like 1 and 2,
MK3 and Ultimate and Trilogy are okay but not on the same level as 1 and 2 are.

I don't really have an opinion on the 3D games though, i never really enjoyed 3D fighting games.
