The other day on my xbox lan adapter, the light just stays solid orange on the back even when the cable is unplugged, now i cant transfer my games back and forth. thought it might be a prob with the lan adapter, so i un soldered it and replaced it with a working one off another board and still has the same prob, any help would be greatly appreciated.

which component did you swap?
The magjack connector ore the isc1893af?
