Hey guys.

I've had a cheapmod installed on my xbox V1.1 for ages, and since there is now a new X2 bios release, I have decided to try a bios flash.

The only problem is that I havent done it in ages, and I just wanted to ask if this sounds right to you guys.

Right now, I plan on using 1 512K bios file (New X2 Bios) and another 512K file (Random bios). If I was to use X2 Bios Manager, would it work if I made a 1Mb bios file with these two 512K bins, and then use that to program the chameleon.


Another question I have is, if I have this 1Mb file, what mode would the chameleon have to be in to successfully program the flash via evox. More importantly, would this work?

dip switches set to this:
1=off 2=on 3=off 4=off
this will put it into 1mb
just flash the 512k file to it as is.
it works as this is what we have.
