This new security monitor at work only accepts s-video and some kind of coax video connector, and i need my halo fix biggrin.gif

How do i add s-video to a standard av cable ?
I allready butchered the cable down to the connector, all the pins are exposed.
Where do i solder the C and L wire ? I assume the shielding is ground.
I also heard that you have to bridge some connections.
Anyone done this ? Suggestions ?

I think it would be much easier to purchase an aftermarket av pack with s-video - you can get one for less that $10. Also, you have to have different pins bridged to support different av packs, which i'm not sure you will be able to alter simply by connecting some wires on teh standard av pack. THis link may help you though:

Not a problem - good luck. I put rca and s-video outs in the back of my box so i dont need an av pack - works well.
