Ok, I have a game that my kids have scratched up pretty bad on me. My xbox DVD drive is having trouble reading it, so I cannot rip it to my xbox HD right now. However, my PC DVD drive is able to read it. What is the proper format to rip a game to the PC so that I can ftp it over to the xbox?

Good luck with that one. It may seem like your PC can read it but you'll end up with a 13meg avi.

As discussed a millions times before... NO PC can read an Xbox game disk.

There are a few different scratch repairal kits out there.
They fill in the scratches and patch the really deep ones. These may be a good option to restoring your original came.

If it is a backup that you're talking about, assuming you own the original, then you CAN actually use your PC to make a 1:1 copy of this. Try alchohol 120 or Nero and just do a disc copy. Backups are unprotected and can safely be backed up again for extra secure safe keeping of your investment. Just please don't be using pirated software or one day we won't be legally allowed to crack our boxes.
