Hi there. I have been trying to hook my pc up to the xbox and am having a hard time. I set my pc to be 192.168.0.1 w/subnet 255.255.255.0 and here is where I am not sure. I am running evox off a cd (i cant put it on the hdd if i cant connect!!) and i just looked at the ini on my computer from before i burned the xiso and its set up to be static ip = no and 192.168.0.3. So i've been turning on the xbox and going in to manually change it each time. Will it just not work if it doesnt boot with those settings? should i re-burn evox with an editted ini? I am truly at my wits end here and would appreciate any feedback. Thanks a lot.

you must reburn the CD with an edited evox.ini

Yep, time for a reburn. It needs to be set as static=yes before it is on the cd because when you boot from the cd and you change it, where is it supposed to store those changes?

Dont you already have it on a cdrw? Why dont you just erase that cd and reburn it onto there?
