Ok here's the problem. I have a 1.6 xbox with a botched bios or a bad motherboard. I want to flash my X3 with the 3108 bios on my other xbox(1.1) to see if my 1.6 board is still salvagable. Is the flash size for an X3 1mb? I also want to be sure that when I flash the X3 with the 3108 I can still reflash the chip with a bios that is compatible with xbox versions 1.0-1.5 so that if there is a problem with my 1.6 motherboard I can still use my X3 chip on another xbox.
I've looked at the stickies and I didn't see any real useful links to flashing an X3 (flash sizes, possibility of reflashing, etc). If I missed a link that would explain these would someone please point me to it.
So I guess my questions are: How big do I need to make the bios to flash to the chip(X3)?
Can it be reflashed after a 1mb flash?
Do I even need to do a 1mb flash?
