since u got a X3 chip with the newest x3 bios... u DONT need any bootable disks to get your xbox up and running... u can use the "X3 Config Live" to ftp into the xbox and transfer in your avalaunch dashboard files to the root of C etc etc etc ... u get the idea

since u got a new hard drive... backup the original xbox's hard drive (partitions C and E) into the pc then put in new hard drive... get back into X3 config live... then format the new hard drive in there then transfer the C and E u backed up into the pc and put it back into the new xbox hard drive... then transfer in your avalaunch dashboard and your pretty much done ... atleast for basic xbox setup... u still need programs like "dvd2xbox" for taking your original xbox games and putting them onto the xbox's hard drive etc.
have a good day
