ok..so i got banned 5 days ago. Signed on accidently experimenting with a software exploit..dumb me..so i saw out the eeprom with a few others..had some "technical configuration issues" keep trying eeproms till i got one that worked..(i have 9 biggrin.gif)
so i load the new one. account recovery...3rd day ona nd no banning yet..
didnt switch the hdd..still booting the stock bios from the X3..(my TSOP is trashed) and im good...does this trow the flagged and marrage therory otu the window? im not to educated on the marage theory. is that the eeprom and hdd are grouped? or the hdd and gamer tag are grouped?

and comments or questions..fell free to ask..biggrin.gif

LOL, this time to be on the safe side:

Virgin eeprom + Virgin STOCK HD + Gamertag (Flagged or not) = XBOX Live!
Or
Virgin eeprom + Virgin big HD + Virgin Gamertag = XBOX Live!

Just for extra references, "Virgin" means that it has never seen XBOX Live! before. Unless it was before mid June/jully of 2004. Then any HD should work, since that's when the marrying BS started, but not the eeprom, a banned eeprom is a lost cause.

Good luck mate.

Don't wasted those eeproms mate. Instead of getting a new box, even though it would be the most sure thing, I would get a new big HD and use one of your eeproms, create a new gamertag, and voilá!... XBOX Live!

Nope mate. If your big HD got banned, it'll stay banned. And once it connects to live, it will be found, and a ban will follow.

Stick to the formula above and we all shall be safe. wink.gif

I know this thread hasn't seen any activity in a couple weeks, but... in the question, he did specify a *virgin* large hard drive (something that seems overlooked by the reply). So if his large hard drive had never seen Live before, I don't see a reason this would cause a problem.
