is the original ide ribbon cable that comes with xbox on the hard drive?
cauz i bought a hd that has ultra ata cable 133 mb per sec i think.

there is very little difference between the two, install it if you like but the difference is hardly noticable

youll maybe see .925% inprovement, i dont know if thats the number but the improvement is so small its not really noticible

well depending on what game you play it may or may not be. halo runs noticibly faster but other games i have tried you can barely tell they load faster. now maybe linux would have an advantage with this, maybe not.

meh you mite aswell replace it, its gonna do you no harm
