Full Version: Body Filler

I'm attempting to fill the numbers above the controller ports with some type of body filler and then sand them down and paint over them. Just to get a really clean look going. I'm pretty sure this has already been done.

Can anyone with a little experience around sandable body fillers with good plastic adhesion reccomend a brand name of filler I could use?

It would be very much appreciated.

(EDIT: I guess thats what the FAQ is for, sorry. Is there much traffic moving through there?)

But ya, bondo is great, and pretty cheap too, $6.50 a pint.

I'd recommend drilling out the numbers a bit, and then filling.
Just to make sure the numbers don't pop out at all. It doesn't take a lot of drilling.
lostboyz
how about sanding?
haloloser
sanding works, but drilling is better. the more rough the surface can be the better chance you have of the bondo not cracking when you have to pop it back in place. ive never had a problem with just sanding the numbers, but its a very good idea to drill them.
