Ok, ive looked thourgh many things and it would seem that smartxx is a better board than the xecuter. The chart looks like it has more memory, and more features.... etc etc. It would seem though, like the Xecuter is more popular and is much more widely purchased. I just dont understand why? my intention isnt to start a xectuer vs smartxx or make a which is the best modchip thread, im just trying to figure this out. Is it because the Xecuter has a BIOS bank switch? or more accessories to back it up? Is the xecuter easier to install? or is it because Smartxx v2 has no solderless solution? Thanks!

Use what the majority uses and you have the best shot at support etc. Shrug.

(OK, flame me, but in the mean time 90% of all readers uses windows as OS, which is not nescessarilly the best OS around) (OK, including myself, grin)

Xecuter is a well know brand for chips

Xecuter is the first chip most will hear about, or have suggested to them.

Xecuter is well advertised, lots of people already have one, so, more people buy them.


thats about it, if i had the choice, i would go for a SmartXX over an X3.

same reason coca cola i smore popualr than the store brand, its pretty much all in the name

Xecuter also does other bioses that work on chips besides their own, they have case modding hardware, and offer a ton of support.

Its a great product and there about innovation. They bring new features with there modchips and bios's. I like them just wish they were more affordable.
