Hello everyone.
i found the files that contains all Forza's in-game text. I'd like to edit these files, but their extension is ' .str ' and I have no program that opens these kind of file.

Can anybody help me with it?

Local where files are : /Forza/media/Loc/en/
File I want to edit:
- UIStrings.str
- RewardStrings.str
- GameStrings.str
- EventStrings.str

I want to open and edit it. I know that notepad opens it, but when i try to edit and transfer into the game, it crashes.

Use a hex editor, DONT change the size of the file, that may be the reason why its crashing. It may also need 2 be signed after you have edited it

The..key is no where to be found.. im trying to send over my save and am having nothing but problems..err

The game uses the europe fonts also, how do i know, if you delete them the game has a dirty disc error, everything else can be deleted fine, besides english and europe.

How can I sign that?

Just tried changing the "Are you sure you want to get into blabla etc" message, letters that have been changed turn in game to squares, exclamation marks to "‡". Good and bad: It's possible to change in game text, but don't know how to get correct letters :\
