And on the tales of the new media player skin I did, I decided to make a quick Corona skin to match it properly with a 20 second perfect looping background video this one is still waiting on a file manager skin and an Idea for a loading screen

They are bloody fantastic!

But like i said in the other thread, please make them into widescreen as well...

I have a PAL wide screen (720x576 if i remember correctly) and there arent that many good looking skins out there...

The Xmen one will definetly be in widescreen not to sure about Corona though but you might have to wait a week or two for when I egt Broad band to upload them size the widscreen videos or lots bigger

On another note I finished the Corona File Manager now for a loading game screen

I am sure it would be. There are too many standard tv users to leave them out. Or at least I hope the standard tv versions will be released because those skins looking sweet. Keep up the awesome work.

I finally found a replacement for the Blackbox Jezz News BigVid skin you came out with so long ago. I'm not surprised it's one you your skins either

lol thats the same skin Ive been using since it was released. Im going 2 try the Corona skin now but Ill probably stick with the greatest skin ever Blackbox Jezz News BigVid!!

Yeah a small one I was going to redo the whole thing one day I've leart quite a bit about photoshop since I first did that and think I can make it a little better

Well spent few hours wipping up a media player for the blackbox skin so heres what I got so far nothing fancy but still looks good and matches the theme.

Now off to do a splashscreen and maybe rework the filemanager a bit / lot

Got bored today thought I'd muck around with Project Mayhem III and do a conversion since people seem to like it so much and the ones I've downloaded so far have no spot for Icons or Preview videos . Its not finished yet still need to change the dialog colors and the music player and maybe talk to ChokeManiac about it and ask if its OK



The Preview video is behind the menu like when you play a video on xbmc and go back to the menu

Media Player pretty much done but I don't think the buttons are up to PM3 standards also need a volume somewhere maybe

That PM3 skin looks like gold, I can't wait for it's release (like everone else it seems).

You know I've been using your skins since back in the day and these newest ones just make that even more sure, you should be the official unleashx skinner, who cares if the .rar package gets a bit bloated if these skins are included?

My only suggestions for any of them is maybe have a larger menu version for those with lots of stuff in their menus. Not for PM3 of course, but corona has a good inch of space below the menu and before the info block that the menu could be enlarged and made to accomated another 2 menu items, and Xmen2_DVD_menu would look rad I think with the time moved near the bottom and the main menu block stretched down most of the left side of the screen, the transparancy would insure it didnt obstruct too much of the background.

These are not criticisms at all mind you, the skins work and look perfect as they are, they were just ideas I had when looking at your beautiful new skins and compared them on my softmodded box with only three or four menu items per menu, to the main xbox with 40 or 50 items in some menus.

Possible But I didn't want to obstrust the background much and keep it pretty clean plus I wanted the gap between them insead of joining them together.


I agree with you on this one the only problem is that the background video is not made by me at all and the bar that the time sits on is actually in the original menu of the DVD with text on it so it would be impossible for me to move took me ages to get rid of the text

PROJECT MAYHEM III

This is a Conversion to UnleashX of the Project Mayhem III skin for Xbox Media Center. Ive got the blessing of ChokeManiac to release it he even made a few more images just for it

All the Graphics in the skin are done by ChokeManiac Ive only arranged them and created the skin.xml for the images so all credit in that respect goes to ChokeManiac, Oh I did do the player buttons so don't blame him for that one

Hey jezz, i got an issue with your skins. In both the corona and blakbox skins, the amplifyer jumpy thingy in media player seems to come out of the actual media player. any reason why?

ah I've had the same problem as well. My graphical EQ seems to have 2 more bars than yours does and they are rendered outside to the right of the music player.

BTW just saw the Concept 43 Corona skin, very nice indeed.

Project_Mayhem_III_JezzX is my new default skin though, the video behind the menu looks so sweet.

I got the same problem for the PM3 skin too

Well for the pm3 skin, i figured it out. Just change the "meter" tag in the skin.xml. Change the width to 160 instead of 210. In Blackbox, change it to 150. In corona, about 120. I hope this helps

I can't seem to get the BlackBox Mark III or the pm3 skins to work with unleash. As soon as I try to save them, the box just locks up. I'm using the most current dash, so I imagine it has something to do with my config file... Any suggestions?

I realize its too big but on my screen if I make it the right size it looks to small so I figured it was an unleashX Bug and just modded it to suite me
I'm running in Pal60 mode so maybe its a pal problem though I think I've checked it in NTSC

Well I'm pretty sure you don't have the latest version of unleashX any version of UnleashX that isn't Unleashx V0.38.0515a Build 565 or later will get this exact problem I know I've tested it and experienced it. Its due to the new zorder stuff and the way the fonts are listed

Any way to get unleashX to boot on power up hold down the back button on the controller which will load the default skin you can then press the Y button scroll down and check what version you have

Well thats wierd did you change the figures for the media player like incognegro said above because that might cause it sinse that what happens to me
maybe the file your playing isn't stereo but thats just a huge guess

But it seems to me the media player bars display has a bug built into unleashX

wow, this is simply the best looking skin for unleashx i`ve ever seen! this one should become the default-skin for unleashx! but there are some things, that i whould change/that i miss:

1. storage information for e: and f: and ip-adress (there is some space under the news-scroller)
2. there is no volume-bar in the music-player
3. the music-title informations shouldn`t go over the oval XBOX logo. could be a few pixel more to the right.
4. i whould like to have more than 5 menu-points. maybe this bars could be a bit smaller, so that 7 menu-points could fit at the same space
5. black splash-screen? hmmm, is there one in the works?


overal its really really beautiful, but not the one with the most "features" in it. but also without that simply amazing!

1) yeah but I was trying to keep it clean like the XBMC version of the skin but I might post another skin.xml file with the other stuff on it but really all that stuff is accesable by pressing the Y button

now that i think about it, it wasn't just your skin. it does that since i upgraded to the media player build. i tried deleting the save files, didn't do anything. i have no idea why i only have 4 bars. i really wish i could figure it out though.

oh, and changing the width doesn't do anything. or left, etc.

Ok seems this is a bug in UnleashX when you left align text it dosn't obey the size of the box you put it in and just draws it out
I also Noticed that when you set scroll="1" on text on a left aligned box it will become right aligned and not scroll at all but flash but scroll="2" works fine and obeys the box size
