LOCATED IN THE PHILLY AREA

I just got this TV only to find it doesnt fit down the stairs to my basement. It is 1.5yrs old, and has all the bells and whistles you would expect from an expensive HDTV (a ton of inputs including DVI, Memory Stick slot to view digital pictures, etc). Asking $1100. You will need a big truck or trailer to move this tv, and a couple of friends to help.

Upgrade your small crappy TV now so you can enjoy all the benefits of gaming in high def. The 360 is just around the corner smile.gif You wont find a nicer/bigger TV for the price. Come look at the TV for yourself and play some xbox in 1080i (I have a few 1080i games such as mx unleasef).

I thought an HDTV is close enough related to xbox... given the xbox360 and the whole "HD era" smile.gif

i really dont think that saying 'get your HDTV for the X360' counts as being xbox related

you CAN, it's just really hard to see how well you're doing.

I have a couple xboxes that run without a tv (running linux and connect over ethernet) wink.gif

What you REALLY can't play xbox without, is electricity. so if you have a power plant or even just a generator for sale..... biggrin.gif

J/K & good luck with your sale. you must have a very steep basement stairway or a very sharp turn - I've gotten 60+ inch rear projection units into some pretty tight areas before (never had to sell one due to inability to get it in YET *knock wood*)

Yeah my stairs are really weird...

As you can see the ceiling comes down right in the middle of the stairs. After doing some measuring, I cant fit anything taller than 50" down... and this tv is 55" tall.

For those who dont realize how big a 57" tv is... here it is next to my parents 32" tv. I use to think 32" was pretty big wink.gif

You should not game on a standard rear projection tv...only if it's DLP or LCD ...

Phosphorus Burn sucks.. I remember a buddy of mine let his kid play an older NES system that had duck hunt.... everytime he watched a movie you could see the trees and crap in the background. It only took a few months for that to happen. Granted, that was a few years ago, but rear projection is rear projection. HDTV doesn't matter. DLP is what you really want if you are going to do a lot of gaming on the set.

If you are going to game on a standard rear projection just make sure you dont play games for long periods of time that have certain images in one spot. That's where you end up getting into a jackpot.

I have a 57" widescreen HDTV that is 30 months old and has a picture that is as good as the day I grabbed it. I dont do any gaming on it really. Only once in a great while will I game on it. I use a 26" widescreen HD LCD set for gaming...it works out pretty nicely.
