XBMP 2.0 keeps freezing and locking up.
what should i do??

umm. Upgrade to 2.3 at least.

maybe he has newer version but not 2.3 loading screen.
once you are @ the menu with my music, my videos etc.,
lokk in the top left for build info i.e. time and date stamp and version number.
