I cant find anything to help me. Im so lost right now. I installed my modchip Xecuter 2.6. Everything seeemed to be working fine. I burned the bios disk, stuck it in my xbox, it flashed it. Then when i turned it on, it did the loop thingy. Turns on, then off, then on, then off, then fianlly on but I can;t see a thing. Please help, and sorry for the repeated noob question

anyway, do you knwo what bios was on the disc? also, can you boot fromt eh toehr bank? you might have to hotswap the chip or get an external programmer

Xecuter 3 3029 bios , I think my xbox is 1.2-1.3. Im guessing 1.3. My modchip basically seems useless at the moment. I might add I had the same problem before if the modchip was off, but that may be normal im not sure. What about the 3 wire trick.

the 3 wire trick is for repairing bad flashes on 1.0/1.1 TSOPs, not 1.2/1.3 modchips

So basically there's nothing i can do. My xbox is a giant paper weight?



or can i take the chip out and try it all over again?

like i said in the first place, you can relfash the chip with an external programmer or hotswap with another chipped xbox and reflash


an x3 bios will not work on an x2 chip, but i believe 3029 is the x2 bios

Hotswap my hdd? Im kinda confused. At this point im willing to do anything...!!

not the HD, the chip, you need another guy with an x2.6 (or someone with a pinheader install) then just turn on his xbox and swap the modchips while its on, then go to flash bios in evox and flash

I dont know anyone with a chip. Where can i buy a programmer. And are these my only options. and by the way i really appreciate this

AFAIK these are th eonly options to fix the bad flash on the chip

check the buy/sell/trade forums for a programmer

Get someone from the forums to flash it for you or borrow a programmer.
The initial problem is as said because you used the X3 bios on your chip.
