I have a few questions, and since they cover more than one topic, I thought I'd be "General":
1) XECUTER2 BIOS 4976.02
A) Is it compatible with a v 1.0 Xbox, with the Matrix chip installed, running XBMP as the dashboard?
B) If it is compatible, will I need to do anything for XBMP to reconize it ("XECUTER2 4976.02" instead of "Unknown")?
C) What's the string I need to add to EvolutionX to reconize it?
2) Xbox Media Player 2.3 (CVS 3/27/2003)
A) I noticed that when I desplay the menus as icons, the bottom row's titles are cut in half (display shows 3 rows of 4 icons, and the 3rd row's titles are cut). Is there a way to fix this?
B) I also noticed that rm and mov files are displayed but not playable. Some people have told me that they are playable (they did it over a network share) but playback was unreliable, choppy and just plain bad; and that the XBMP team was still working on them. I haven't been able to find any new information on the XBMP team's progress. Has anybody heard anything new on this (no, conversion is not an option)?
3) Xbox-Linux
A) The download files are pretty large (for 56k), I am looking for a good (and free) program that will let me "pause" any internet download and resume it at any time. Any suggestions?
B) I just need "dist-0.3.0.tar.bz2" and "boot_fatx.iso.bz2" to install and boot form my XBMP menu, right? Then, what is "xbox-linux-install-cd-0.0.10.iso.bz2"?
C) Is there anyway to see the Xbox files ("FATX")?
Thanks.
