Full Version: How To Boot To Evox Instead Of M$ Dash ?

First, apologies if I have missed this information in my searches, but I've been trying to find this info and can't.

I'm not exactly a noob at this, I hacked my Xbox with the audio expliot, but that was over a year ago and I have forgotten a lot of stuff!

Ok, what I want to do is have my Xbox boot directly to the EvoX dash (which I just upgraded to v3935) instead of directly to the M$ dash from power up.

As it stands now, in order to play backed up games, I use the Phoenix Bios loader and EvoX. You know the whole put in an audio disk and go through all those steps ......... (zzzzz sleeping.gif zzzzz).........to boot a backup. I want to eliminate that!! =)

Now the tricky part... I can't remember if that is possible witout a mod chip because of the Bios. If it is great!! If so, I will need to know where to place which files where.

Many thanks in advance for you insights!! =)
It is greatly appreciated!!

the UXE boots directly to whatever dash you want.

use this in combination with nkpatcher (a much newer, better replacement of PBL).

grab an installer like krayzie's or anothergamesaveinstaller.

Thank you!!

Now just a little more help. Like I said I have been out of the loop for a while and I'm not quite up to speed on all of the new stuff. huh.gif

What is UXE, nkpatcher and where can these be found?

Can I use my original MechAssult game save exploit to do this?

yes the gamesave exploit can be used to trigger an installer which will do pretty much everything for you.

remove the audio exploit (was before my time so i can't help you with that, i assume you would just delete the soundtrack?).

download Krayzie's UXE installer (google for it).

use FTP or action replay to get the save onto your xbox and run it through mechassault's gamesave exploit.
