Been a while since I modded last time used a solderless chip but seemed to wiggle a lot so got a new 3ce

everything seems fine except here is the situation

when powering on i get the blue & red light from the chip
whan I press power red light goes on and it boots to original ms dash
when i press power and eject it glows purple like it suppossed to then frags to a solid orange with a blank (black) screen
I just cant get it to boot to the chip

I am assuming its proboly the gray do and Im bout to redo it now just thought if someone new something else i would apprecaite any help

i use the wire install works every time for me i did the pinheader on the x3 and i got the same thing some reason with the 2.6 chip it works fine just do the wire install trust me it works and pays for its self pm for the wire pictures i got them or you can email me at xecuter1973@gmail.com

You need to have :

2 Blue LED's lit on the chip itself (the flash protect is either red or green) - do you?
The front 'X' should be BLUE - is it?

Switches need to be in the off,on,off,off position for a 1.6b

Solid Amber is either overheating - did you reconect the fan?
OR solder splash on some contacts.
