Where is the save dir for the MS Dashboard audio ripping? If someone can tell me that, i think i can figure out my other answers for additional questions i have

Interesting...wma. Another question. Has anyone coverted files to wma to place in there for custom soundtracks? my xbox wont read CD-R to rip them.

convert to wma using any program you want. then use the xbox soundtrack manager to add the files to the MS soundtracks via FTP. its a good program and simple to use. however it can't be used to pull songs off, only to add. if you want the songs already on there you have to pull them off manually and figure out which files are which songs.

Yes, just use WMP on your pc to rip them as wma files. Then use Xbox soundtrack editor to transfer them to your xbox. Easy to do and the program should'nt be hard to find.

Also if your going to convert .mp3's to .wma's there's tons of software you can use for that that's free. Just do a search.

lol thanks guys. Blah guess i have to switch to windows to do something else now for this xbox! wish there were more linux apps
