has anyone come across a program such as alcohal 120% for mounting iso's to a virtual drive? or are there other ways of doing this? pretty much my dilema is that i only have a 20gb upgrade in my box, so i dont have the room for everything i want, and i dont feel like buying anymore dvd rws, so i constantly find myself rewriting them every time i wish to play something new... ive been wondering if there is some sort of way to ftp an iso to the hdd and read it from there?

why dont you use craxtion to extract the iso and ftp it over.

Edit: Oh, you mean for the Xbox...

My mistake. Yes, Craxtion or Qwix will do it for you. Both are in the Tools section of the X-S homepage.

I thought that when you play a game backup up on your xbox, the system mounts in in the dvd drive.

If you have the originals you don't need to re-write anything at all. Use the original disc and DVD2XBOX to copy the game accross.
