How do I read the partitions from my PC? I unlocked the hdd with configmagic now what do I do? Its plugged in.

if you have a hard drive installed on the comp then it shouldnt be on master. first drive to master with windows or what ever then the xbox hard drive to slave. i dont think you can get the info off it from your comp. thats why you have to ftp into it to get the info off. all you can do is use it as a reg hard drive. which only 8-10gb isnt really worth it. there are guides on how to use it on your comp if you search.

Well the reason why I wanted to access the drive from the PC is I wanted to change attributes on a file, CHMOD will not work through FTP. is their any other way to change attributes???

Why not ftp it over to your computer change the attributes and ftp it back?
