i have a fully working PCB for the S controller.
the only problem with it is that the wire was loose so I desoldered it from the PCB thinking i had a spare controller wire

now it's just sitting at home.
buttons, case, pads are all in great shape

so after you tried to resolder the wire the controller doesnt work anymore or what exactly is the prob? im really only interested in the pcb, as long as the d-pad, a, b, and a trigger work, im happy

didn't attempt to resolder the orinal wire. i supect that the loose connection is between the bulge that goes into the controller and the bulge right after it (not the one that disconnects)
the only way i could get the controller to respond was to bend the wire in this area in sort of a hairpin curve.
i guess the previous owners (kids) fought over the controller and would just pull on the wire or something.
haven't had the chance to resolder.
but the controller did work when the wire was bent.
