I have an unmodded xbox (never opened) and it recently started fragging (every now and then at first, but now every time). I get the 3 slow greens followed by fast red/green. The fan still goes and I get a blank screen. I have sinced opened it to clean it, but no luck.

I have heard mcpx trouble is common for this??? but not sure what to do about it.

I have no xbox parts/repair experience, so any help would be appreciated.

I had a similar experience to yours, and it turns out my problem was the power supply, I just swapped it out for a different one and it worked fine.

thanks for the info, is there a way i can test the power supply?
